Our Process
Quotation
Prior to quoting a project, CustomKit Pro will request as much detail as possible from the customer, including the bill of materials and any special needs related to packaging or labeling. Included may be part numbers, descriptions, quantities per package and details of any acceptable alternative parts, printing of installation instructions or other details specific to the customer’s needs. It is always helpful to provide us with actual samples of all components. We will work with the customer to determine which components will be supplied and clarify the terms related to those items. A quotation will be developed and submitted, complete with price and delivery information. Any concerns we may have regarding possible delays caused by supply sources will be noted.
Order Receipt and Purchasing
Upon receipt of an order, CustomKit Pro will issue purchase orders for all necessary components according to the customer’s bill of materials.
Receiving
Throughout the process of receiving components at CustomKit Pro, all parts will be inspected and stored in an area dedicated exclusively to that project.
Kitting
Once receipt of all components has been confirmed, kit assembly will be completed per the customer’s instructions.
Inspection
Each kit will be inspected visually and weighed prior to shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the bill of materials.
Order completion
After passing inspection, the kits will be bulk packaged and shipped per the customer’s specifications.
